Feline coronavirus (FCoV) is an RNA virus. FCoV exists in two biological types: Feline Infectious Peritonitis Virus (FIPV) and Feline Enteric Coronavirus (FECV). FCoV is commonly present in felines, especially cats raised in large groups. According to previous studies, 75-100% of farm cats and 25% of domestic cats tested positive for coronavirus.
