Action:
Zinc is an essential trace element for over 250 enzyme systems, many of which are associated with the immune system. Zinc is also necessary for connective tissue strength and integrity. The polysaccharide complex protects zinc from ruminal antagonists such as calcium and iron, which enables the zinc to pass into the small intestine where a predictable level of absorption occurs.
