Sulphadimidine 430mg/g and trimethoprim 86mg/g in a free-flowing powder formulation.
 
Action:
Combination of sulphadimidine and trimethoprim with synergistic and bactericidal action. Antibacterial effects against Gram+ve and Gram-ve organisms.
 
Indication:
Treatment of respiratory, urogenital and gastrointestinal infections in horses due to sulphadimidine-susceptible organisms.
 
Contraindication:
Hypersensitivity to sulphonamides.
 
DOSAGE:
For oral use only. Give on dampened food or mixed with honey or molasses. One large level scoop (provided) holds 5g sulphadimidine and 1g trimethoprim. The small measure contains ¼ of this amount. Before filling the measure, rotate container horizontally to ensure consistent filling weight. Do not pack tightly into measure.

HORSES: Administer 1 large level scoop/200kg b.w. twice daily. Duration of treatment is 5 days or as indicated by the symptoms.

Withholding Times:
MEAT: Horses producing meat and offal for human consumption must not be sold for slaughter for human consumption either during or within 63 days of the last treatment.
 
Other Information:
When not in use, keep lid tightly closed.
